DedicatedSlugify CLI
A small text-to-URL tool. The run reached its approved hours, stopped, and the client kept the code built so far.
This run reached its 1.25 approved hours before the last stage. The factory stopped and asked. The client cancelled instead of approving more hours, paid only the hours used and received the code built so far. We show it because it is how the budget rule works.
The request
A small Python command-line tool that turns any text into a URL-friendly slug: accents removed, only a-z, 0-9 and hyphens, an optional maximum length, clear errors and exit codes, with pytest tests.
What was delivered
- slugify.py with Unicode normalisation, hyphen rules, the --max option and exit codes
- 85 pytest tests
How it was checked
- Tests
- 85 automated tests pass on the delivered code (we reran them).
- QA and security
- Not run: the client cancelled before the final checks, so this delivery has no QA or security report.
