Terms of service
These terms apply to every project you start in the QuantiCoder portal. Version 2026-10-30.1.
Who we are
The service is provided by Quantinia SRL, CUI 54951080, trade registry number [trade registry number], [registered office address], Craiova, Romania. Contact: [contact email].
The service
QuantiCoder is a software factory: AI agents build code from your specification. You lease it by the hour: you describe the project, answer a few questions, approve an estimate and receive the code, in stages or at the end.
Standard plan: the factory runs on a server without a GPU, rented from RunPod only for your project, in the European Union or, for clients billed in the US or Canada, in the US; its agents use DeepSeek's API. DeepSeek is a provider based in China; your specification and the code being built are sent to it.
Dedicated plan: the agents use an AI model that runs on a graphics card (GPU) rented from RunPod only for your project, in RunPod data centres in the European Union, or in the US for clients billed in the US or Canada.
On the Standard and Dedicated plans, the clarification questions, the estimate and the chat with the CEO use Claude, from Anthropic (USA).
Private plan: the same GPU, in the European Union or, for clients billed in the US or Canada, in the US, and no outside AI service: no Claude, no questions before the build and no CEO. The estimate is made from your documentation without any AI model, and the factory asks its questions on your project's GPU before it builds anything.
On every plan the server is ours and works only on your project. It starts where the billing country of your account says: in the US for the US and Canada, and in the European Union for everyone else; on Dedicated and Private the data then stays there. You receive the delivered code; you never get access to the server or to the factory.
The billing country of your account decides where your project's server starts and how VAT is invoiced. You can change it on the Account page until your first payment.
On the Standard and Dedicated plans, do not upload real personal data (names, emails, real customer records) in your specification, documents or code: the factory needs none to build software. Anonymising your data is your job, and you answer for any real personal data you upload on these plans. Use made-up sample data instead.
If your project needs real personal data, choose the Private plan.
Prices and payments
The price per hour of work of each plan is on the Prices page. The factory measures the hours while it works. Pauses, waiting for your approval and the time an engineer needs to unblock the work are not billed. Prices
On the Standard and Dedicated plans, the questions start after you buy the start credit ($20.00). Claude's use is charged at its token price, with no markup. Unused credit goes toward your deposit, or back to your card if you stop. The Private plan has no start credit.
Before the build you pay a deposit of 30% of the estimate, credited on your bill. The estimate is not a fixed price: you pay the hours actually used, and the difference comes back to your card.
When the approved hours run out, the work stops at the next safe point and continues only after a new estimate and deposit that you approve. The step already in progress at that moment is finished and billed.
Changes can be asked for between stages. Each change is estimated and needs its own deposit before the work continues.
Payments go through Stripe. With your consent, your card is saved for the payments of the project: the stage deliveries, if you chose them, and the final bill. Every payment and refund is listed in the project.
Cancellation
Before the build starts you can stop the questions at any time and get the unused credit back on your card.
During the build you can cancel at any time. The factory stops; you pay the hours used until then and receive the code built so far. If you paid more, the difference goes back to your card.
If you are a consumer, you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days. By asking us to start the work before that period ends, you agree to pay for the work done until you withdraw, and you lose the right of withdrawal once the work is complete.
The code
The code is delivered as a ZIP file, after payment. Once paid, everything you receive is yours: the code, the tests, the documentation and the reports. You may use, change and sell it. It can include open-source libraries, which keep their own licences.
We use your specification, documents and code only to build your project. We do not reuse them, sell them or use them to train AI models, and we keep no copy after the retention period.
The factory checks each stage with tests and a security review, on Linux. Code built by AI can still contain errors: test it before you use it in production. We do not promise that the code fits a purpose not written in the specification.
Upload only documents you have the right to share, and do not ask for software that breaks the law.
Our liability for a project is limited to the amount you paid for it, except where the law does not allow such a limit.
Data processing (GDPR art. 28)
For any personal data in your project, you are the controller and Quantinia SRL is the processor. We process it only to build your project, on your instructions as given in the portal.
By accepting these terms you give us a general written authorisation to use the sub-processors listed in the privacy policy, with what each one receives and its country. Sub-processors
We announce changes to that list by email at least 30 days before they apply. You may object by cancelling the project.
On the Standard and Dedicated plans no personal data is accepted, so under these terms the sub-processors of those plans never receive it.
Only the factory and our operator can access your project's data. Uploaded documents are deleted after the project is settled, as the privacy policy describes. If a breach affects your data, we tell you without undue delay.
Law and disputes
Romanian law applies. We try to settle any dispute amicably first; otherwise the competent courts in Romania decide.
Consumers can also turn to ANPC, the Romanian consumer protection authority, and to its alternative dispute resolution service. anpc.ro · Alternative dispute resolution (SAL)
We may update these terms. The version you accepted when you started a project applies to that project. Privacy policy
